Position as Rehearsal Director also Available

A rare opportunity has arisen for creative, dynamic and like-minded artists to become part of the Australasian Dance Collective (ADC) team.

Australasian Dance Collective is one of the nation’s leading contemporary dance companies, based in Brisbane, Australia. Established in 1984 as Expressions Dance Company, they have created more than 170 works by 75 Australian and international choreographers.

With an ensemble of six dancers, the company has achieved significant recognition through national awards, including three Helpmann Awards and three Australian Dance Awards.

Entering a bold new era under the leadership of renowned Artistic Director, Amy Hollingsworth, the company is focussed on collaboration, empowerment and artistic risk-taking to create exhilarating dance works that push boundaries and speak to the soul.

Australasian Dance Collective are seeking Expressions of Interest from male dancers who have strong technique and excellent skills in partnering, improvisation, task work and contributing to creative processes. ADC value authenticity, intelligence, clarity, sensitivity and resilience.

ADC are also looking for a project-based Rehearsal Director and encourage experienced rehearsal directors, or people in a leadership role within a dance studio, to apply.

ADC is a collaborative, inclusive and inspiring environment where your courage for taking creative risks will drive our innovation.

Given the complexities presented by COVID-19, live auditions will not be held. So please head to the website for more information and to register your interest.
