Avant Garde is a brand new Broadway Youth Dance Company, located in Sydney’s South West, which is being launched in only a few short weeks. After finding limited performance opportunities for Musical Theatre and Broadway style trained young dancers, Avant Garde was established to create a platform allowing performers a chance to extend their training and experience, in preparation for the next step in their careers.
Initial Auditions were held in November 2019, and after a great response from talented young dancers, the company is able to confirm that the 2020 Season will proceed as planned. We are A second round of Open Auditions will be held on 25th Saturday January, as not everyone was able to attend the initial audition round.
Avant Garde are seeking great all-round, versatile performers, with experience in Jazz Dance, Tap Dance, Heels, Singing, Acting or any combination of these skills.
Performers will experience an incredible variety of styles under the guidance of innovative, creative, brilliant and highly skilled creators, giving them the building blocks for a bright and successful future, leading to professional careers in the Musical Theatre industry.
Junior Ensemble: 8-12yrs
Senior Ensemble: 13-18yrs
