DANCELIFE INTERVIEWS NIGEL TURNER-CARROLL FROM WEST SIDE STORY


DanceLife Australia interviews Nigel Turner-Carroll who plays Bernardo in the upcoming Australia production of West Side Story.
Nigel is a recent graduate of the National Institute of Dramatic Arts three year acting degree. Whilst at NIDA he played lead roles in Roy Williamson’s Days of Significance, Chekhov’s The Wood Demon and Bertolt Brecht’s Fear and Misery in the Third Reich.
Working with Sydney Theatre Company in Nigel Jameison’s Gallipolli, as well as working with Dein Perry in the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games and his film Bootmen were some of the highlights of Nigel’s career to date.
Before studying at NIDA Nigel has travelled throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia in such productions as Hot Shoe Shuffle, Leader of the Pack, and Saturday Night Fever.
