Australian contemporary dance festival – Dance Massive – is returning to Melbourne next year from 12 – 24 March. Dance Massive is run by a consortium of 4 organisations – Arts House, Dancehouse, Malthouse Theatre and Ausdance Victoria – and provides opportunities for Australian artists to pitch their work to presenters.

EOIs are now open for Australian dance companies, choreographers and artists to pitch tour ready works and present works in development at Dance Massive 2019, an Australian contemporary dance festival in Melbourne.

Dance Massive allows the consortium to share resources, collaborate, promote and celebrate contemporary dance under one banner, and has a history of programming Australian contemporary dance works for Australian audiences. It aims to make dance… massive!

There is no one Artistic Director for Dance Massive, with each partner programs their own venue. Each venue has a different mechanism for programming during Dance Massive – please contact each for their Dance Massive programming.
