WHERE GOOD MUSIC AND DAGGY DANCING COLLIDE

WHERE GOOD MUSIC AND DAGGY DANCING COLLIDESydney’s favourite mass dance class for adults returns to CarriageWorks on Wednesday 23 June with Wrong Prom: BLUES BROTHERS.
Part dance lesson; part disco, Wrong Prom is a spectacle to behold as 700 people dressed for the occasion gather in the massive CarriageWorks foyer with professional dance instructors from Urban Dance Centre teaching choreography inspired by cult classic dance films and musicals.
With the hilarious Drew Fairley as host, DJ Matt Vaughan on the decks, and the bar serving up dishing of courage for the wallflowers, Wrong Prom: Blues Brothers is the perfect mid‐week opportunity to get dressed up, get out and kick the winter blues.
The last Wrong Prom saw the crowd draped in over‐sized grey sweaters and legwarmers as they relived Flashdance … now it’s time to don a Blues Brothers‐inspired suit, a pair of Raybans and shake your tail feather!
With the best of Rhythm & Blues and Motown from the early 80s, classic songs to expect include Gimme Some Lovin’, Jailhouse Rock and Ray Charles’ Shake Your Tailfeather.
Wrong Prom: Blues Brothers is one in a series of very popular events that tend to sell out so people are encouraged to get in early to book for a super‐fantastic fun night out.
