What’s new?
An increase of 4% has been applied to all wages and per diems this year, to adequately tackle rising cost of living pressures.
The Dancers Australia National Committee have approved two new sets of rates:
- Freelance Dance Teachers Minimum Rates for those who are engaged primarily as contractors; and,
- Non-Freelance Dance Teacher Minimum Rates for those who are engaged primarily as employees.
The Committee has also published two helpful ‘check-a-box’ guides that you can use to self-assess what you should be getting paid as a dancer or dance teacher.
