Many teenagers feel like they’re being pulled in all directions and never quite measuring up. Depression and anxiety rates among young people are alarmingly high, as are high risk behaviours such as binge drinking.
Enter the two day It’s MY Life workshop for adolescents, to be held in Byron Bay on 26 and 27 February. According to Kate Histon (workshop creator and facilitator), “The aim of It’s MY Life is to show teenagers how to take control of their lives in a conscious way so they can be proud of themselves and their choices.”
It’s MY Life is an entertaining and creative two day workshop for teenagers. “We’ll look at everything from finances to relationships, from managing stress to increasing self confidence”, said Kate. “And we’ll be having lots of fun at the same time!”
Kate Histon has worked with young people for more than twelve years. Her experience as a coach, dance teacher and qualified educator, combined with her creative and dynamic manner, ensure that her workshops sell out fast. Workshop fee is $250; however, Kate is offering an Early Bird rate of $197 until the end of January.
