DANCING HIS WAY INTO THE TOP 30 UNDER 30

Clint SalterWe received some great news yesterday that we wanted to share with you all about DanceLife’s Founder, Clint Salter.

Clint Salter, Aged 24, founder of DanceLife, an online community for Australian dancers and performers, has been recognised in Anthill’s 2009 Top 30 Under 30 Entrepreneurs.
Anthill is an Australian website for small business owners which each year celebrates outstanding entrepreneurial endeavours through its ’30 under 30′ awards. Clint scored his place due to his creation in July 2008, of DanceLife, the only specialist online directory & social network targeted to all Australian dancers and performers. The site has quickly established itself as a destination for dancers of all levels.
Clint’s relationship with the world of entrepreneurship began at an early age when he opened his own dance studio while studying his School Certificate. In 2007 Clint completed a Diploma of Marketing majoring in Entertainment and Artist Management at APM College where he duxed his class. This lead to a coveted role with celebrity agent Harry M Miller – where he manages successful clients including Peter Morrissey, Zoe Bingley-Pullin, Michael Falzon and Jenny Kee.
With many of his peers utilising all their spare time for social activities, Clint agrees that he has no regrets in taking on such responsibility and enjoys every minute he spends working and growing DanceLife. He has large plans – as well as further developing the Dancelife online community.
“If a young westie boy who grew up in housing commission, raised by a single mother can have created two successful businesses by the age of 24 I believe anyone can. I want to be the motivation and inspiration to other young people who have the idea and passion but are scared to take that risk”, says Clint.
