Male Ensemble & Swings Wanted for Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella

Recently, the producers announced the lead cast for their contemporary retelling of one of the most loved musicals of all time, Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella. The Tony Award-winning Broadway production will have its Australian Premiere in Sydney at the Capitol Theatre from 16 November.

Following the initial round of auditions in May this year, the lead cast will comprise Shubshri Kandiah as Ella, Ainsley Melham as Prince Topher, Silvie Paladino, Tina Bursill, and Todd McKenney. Read about the cast announcement here.

Now, the producers are seeking Video Applications for available Male Ensemble and Male Swing positions.

They are only seeking video applications from artists who did not receive an audition time during the May 2021 audition round. Culturally diverse/BIPOC artists are strongly encouraged to apply.

The second audition round will be by invitation only, and is subject to government restrictions. You will be notified in due course what is required for the second round.
