Lion Heart Dance Company is holding auditions for their 2017 season with a remount of The Scarlet Trace, co-presented by the City of Booroondara.
The audition will take place on Sunday April 30th 2017. Due to the overwhelming response of previous auditions, dancers must apply to audition at www.lionheartdancecompany.com.
If selected, the dancer will then receive confirmation of their audition time and venue. All applicants will be contacted about the outcome of their application.
Dancers will be required for weekly Sunday rehearsals from 21/05/2017 until 27/08/2017 and for performances on 31/08/2017 through 03/9/17. They will receive a profit share, subsidised classes and free photography and show reel content.

Lion Heart Company Training

Lion Heart Dance Company will also be selecting dancers to participate in their Company Training Program (CTP) at this audition.
In 2016 the company launched their own training program to give professional dancers an ongoing and supportive environment to maintain their dance practice. This group of dancers are invited to join company members in two free classes per week. This group is given various opportunities to collaborate, create and perform together. Dancers who are currently a part of CTP have performed for Lion Heart Dance Company at UNDRGRND, the World Convention of Public Health and have also created video content. This program has also proved to be a good environment for dancers to network, collaborate and pursue their own projects.
Dancers can express their interest in this program via the online application form for The Scarlet Trace audition.
Any other questions or queries can be sent to info@lionheartdancecompany.com.
