“ALADDIN AND HIS WONDROUS LAMP”

DANCER AUDITIONS

SUNDAY 22 MARCH 2015

Aladdin and his Wondrous Lamp is an updated contemporary version of the classic fairy tale, in the style of a traditional British family Panto.

Panto takes the familiar fairytale, injects contemporary music as well as injecting current local references in to the script. Panto also encourages and insists on audience participation to create a hysterically funny, raucous, noisy entertainment that is fun for everyone in the family, from ages 4 to 104. Spectacular sets and costumes just add to the mix to make it a truly wonderful experience and exciting to be a part of.

This is Bonnie Lythgoe’s second panto production in Sydney. Once again the production will perform at the majestic State Theatre – “The Palace of Dreams”. Last year’s production of Snow White – Winter Family Musical received rave reviews from both the critics and public alike.
